Growth-factor injection regrew scalp hair in one user's six-week trial

Someone posted that after a six-week cycle of using something called IGF-1 LR3, they saw a lot more scalp hair. They said they usually shave every eight weeks and only get short stubble in between, but this time they had about half an inch of thick hair in the areas that normally have hair and some patchy regrowth where they had been bald. The person emphasized this was just their observation and not medical advice. IGF-1 LR3 is a lab-made version of a natural growth factor in the body called insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1). Growth factors are small proteins that tell cells to grow, divide, or survive. The LR3 variant is modified so it lasts longer in the body than the natural form. People sometimes use it because it can encourage tissue growth in experiments and bodybuilding communities, but it is not approved as a hair-loss treatment. What the report actually is: a single-person anecdote. That means one person noticed a change and shared it, but there was no controlled study, no comparison group, and no blinded measurement.
