A small set of studies and articles is making a claim that a peptide called GHK‑Cu can help with erectile dysfunction (ED). The headlines make it sound like a new, simple fix. But the actual evidence behind those headlines is limited and not the same as the big, well-controlled drug trials people usually expect. GHK‑Cu is a tiny molecule that naturally occurs in the body and can also be made in a lab. It’s often called a peptide (which just means a short chain of amino acids) bound to a copper ion. Researchers have studied it mostly because it seems to help with wound healing, skin repair, and reducing inflammation in lab experiments.
