From clinical trials and prescribing information, common side effects of tirzepatide include nausea, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, and sometimes fatigue. Fatigue is reported but is not the most common complaint, and prolonged extreme lethargy after an infection isn’t a typical pattern uniquely tied to the drug in the public data. It's also important that their dose was recently increased; side effects can be worse during dose changes.
